Good drop in 1-3W LED for old E1 available?

Is there a good drop in LED for the old style Executive E1 lights? 1-3 watts with about a 2-4hr runtime would be nice.

Use a lathed down P1D-CE head its on here somewhere when cut down in diameter is fits in the E1.

Would the LED you mentioned work in a P3 as well? Would you recommend a different LED for this application?

The mod 65535 mentioned involves lathing down the P1D-CE and boring out the reflector in the E1e bezel. It's not exactly a "drop in" mod.

Wasn't it a Fenix P1 instead the new P1D models if I remember right?

It's putting a P1 head into an E1e bezel. Energie and 700 club have done them. I'm
still working on mine, this isn't the easiest swap to do without proper tool's but can
be done. If you have access to a lathe it'll be much easier!

A drill and some different sandpaper grits plus a file and it's not too bad. You could use a P1D-ce and I imagine that you could use momentary on to switch levels and when you got to the level you want press it all the way.

Thanks. I am also trying to find a drop in (or close to it) 5w or 100 Lumen LED for the E2 Defender. I would get the KL4, but it isn't offered in black...just HA.

I dont think the P1D ce fit in the E1 head. I used a P1 in my mod a few weeks ago. Well happy with the result. You can just see where the old E reflector ends and the P1 reflector starts.
