Is a surprisingly good little light being old as it is. So is the EB1 I got with it the other day.

The single cell isn't marked anything other than Backup but near as I can tell it's an EB1, the fellow
I bought them from I suspect got them at the same time or near to it ten-ish years ago.

Color isn't great and they throw more than spill but if you don't go comparing directly to newer stuff
they aren't bad at all. Pretty happy for fifty bucks. I'm mostly a 6p pattern guy, never had any
E series other then mounted on long guns.

Not all e-series are expensive but you got really good deal. When you think about it $25 each!
That's definitely an EB1. I think that shrouded tail cap with no knurling was only used on EB1/EB2.
Probably 500 lumens EB2 and 200 lumens EB1 but the later ones were 600 lm EB2 and 300 lm EB1. I'm not sure how to tell the difference.

Some of these have a twisty "gas pedal" switch, but most have a standard clicky.
