Good LED lantern for under $50?

A friend of mine would like to light the kitchen area of his lodge (no electricity). He currently uses propane lanterns, but they are hot in the confined area. He is looking at LEDs. I showed him a Dorcy;

But I have no idea actually how good it is. Any other suggestions?
