I work for Security at a very very large place and although we've had several spot lights, they all seem to have an issue. We have a good spotlight mounted on an old vehicle but we don't use that vehicle anymore. On our newer vehicle, we had an internal vehicle spotlight that was plugged into the cigarette lighter and was very bright like a regular mounted light but unfortunately it got too hot and someone left it on and almost burned the vehicle.

Then we got this LED Cyclops spotlight. The light was great and the fact that we could charge it in the vehicle was nice too. Unfortunately, it wasn't sturdy enough and it ended up breaking.

So my question is, do you guys know of a good bright, sturdy, and easily chargeable LED spotlight that we could buy so that we don't have to keep going through these? Thanks.

What price?
How much throw?
What size?

Well, runtime might be a good question to add too.

Do a CPF search on these three lights if you're really set on LED...

Coleman 530
Dorcy K2
Stanley 5W

There are many LED flashlights currently available that will outperform any of the above listed spots. I just wanted to point that out as an option.

LED spots generally provide fairly poor performance compared to incandescent spotlights. If you want to enjoy a massive boost in performance then have a look at the Blitz from Lightforce. They make three sizes but only work while connected to a 12V source like a cigarette socket or jumper pack.
