I wanted a digital multimeter to check batteries, picked up a FLUKE ET88DMM meter at a yard sale for $10.00. I figured this was a really good deal. It seems to be in good working order, just needed cleaning up. I know very little about this and it did not come with a manual. If anyone familiar with this could steer me in the right direction to get manual, pointers for checking batteries or anything I would appreciate it!

Well here is the US site for manual downloads. The model number you gave returns no results. There is also an 800 number you can call if you want something not on the list.

If you search for just 88, you get several hits. Perhaps one of them is similar to what you have. What does it say on the front? Something like 88 Automotive Multimeter? The list seems to be arranged by what's on the faceplate in big letters.

Thanks for the link Al. Did not have meter listed, called tech and he told me it was sold by MATCO. Just downloaded standard 88 manual. Changed 9 volt battery, performed tests. It has a blown 15 amp fuse. Will replace fuse and meter as good as new. Not bad for 10 bucks + 1 fuse. This fuse is not necessary to test voltage, continuity, and resistance, so I have already started on my batteries!
