Got my Rexlight - Several Observations and Review

I used Super Lube Synthetic Grease on the Rexlights silicone o-rings....good stuff.
Also Lithium grease would be great.

it shows silicone to be poor for dynamic seals but OK for static. Given the table from the firstlink, wouldn't neoprene be better for these o-rings? So, does anyone know where suitable neoprene o-rings might be found?

Vegetable oils go rancid and turn to gum.

Well. that's the end of my corn oil. I found a few O-rings from other lights that didn't really need to be waterproof (Elly with a crack in lens, old Xnova, Powerlight...) and stuffed them in the second O-ring slot. Good stuff, actually fits. Dunno if it helps the seal.
