H&M FC - Class 3 entry: YC\'s Photon

Hi all, this is my H&M flashlight contest class 3 entry.

It is a Photon 3 fitted with a 1W HD luxeon emitter, probably a Q bin of the old times but not 100% sure. It was built today.

That is indeed amazing - I never imagined the already tiny Luxeon fitting inside that Photon. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif

Shouldn't the runtime actually increase since the ls is more efficient when under-driven?

Nice work. No heat issues? I thought luxeons had to be heat-sinked. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Love it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Now all they need to do is make high capacity cells to make it really viable. good to see there are modders in Aus.
