I recently got a H30w and find that while using it at work medium is to low and high depletes the cell to fast.

Will the H60w utilize AW flat-top 2600 mAh cells?

Out of the six levels, four (190, 110, 15, and 3 lm) are current regulated and two (45 and 0.5 lm) are PWM derived. What does this basically mean?

Are the any know issues, bugs or other concerns with this model?

I experienced the same issue as you described with the H30 having to run on high and getting very warm too.

I have the H60 from when they first were released and I have an AW 2600 cell and it fits and functions. I just tested this before writing.
I use the 18650's from depleted laptop packs which are flat tops and they function also.
I think I remember that the newer version of H60's are made a little longer in the battery tube to better fit protected cells also, as the original, like mine, are a little short for the extra length of the protected cell.

I use mine for work also, I find 40-50 lumens is what works for me, so I use the medium high on the H60 mostly, high sometimes, not needing high2.

The question about the results of PWM when working with it is hard for me to put in simple terms, it's like if your light is shining on a fan blade and you can see stop motion, the blades appearing to freeze in place, that's PWM. Where constant current doesn't make the fans appear to stop. I'm thinking there is a page on CPF that explains it better.

Thanks. I will most likely set it up to run 91/12/2.4 lm's and avoid the 37 PWM option. On paper the 37 would be ideal since my H30w only puts out 17 on medium. Four hours of high at 91 lm will suffice since it even exceeds the H30w's 70 which only gave me about an hour off an AW protected 123. I have idle AW 2600 and 2200 mAh protected cells available for use.

3 modes, each can be set to one of the two levels for that mode
High: 157 lm (2 hours) or 91 lm (4 hours)
Med: 37 lm (10 hours) or 12 lm (50 hours)
Low: 0.4 lm (26 days) or 2.4 lm (9 days)
