Does anybody know of any place to get battery box for 3x A battery for Led Lenser H7? It would have to have regulator (even in for example 3steps, 0-100% would be better of course:)

I have quite high demand for long runtime, so far it runs on one set of AAAs quite well, but still - sometimes I have to be out in cold for many ours over night and I don't like to change batteries.

Also 3x C regulated battery box could be an option.

I have been doing this mod since 2005. You don't need a three aa box. Nor want one. A better solution is put on aa near front center and two in back of head. Add a second velcro strap if desired. This will be more comfortable and stable on the head. Balance.

A wide velcro center is good, because it won't slip to either side of head and you can secure wire to velcro so connections last long. I find the wires last longer this way than being routed on elastic around band that is stretching.

Philcap here has 3 AA. I am guessing a drive for you.

Yes, a little drive for me from Sweden...

I have 3x C battery box from eBay, but I would like to have regulation on it.
If I find something on net, I§ll post it here.

3AA or 3C or 3D battery holders - whatever you can get that will hold the batteries. A long wire cable from this bigger battery holder up to the rear 3aaa battery holder of the LED Lenser H7.
-remove the 3aaa batteries
-drill small hole in bottom of 3aaa holder push wire up in and connect to metal battery tabs inside. Done & can still use the dimmer adjustment lever.

-note this will be easy to remove so you can go back to use just 3aaa batteries
again when

Great! I was thinking about doing this! I think this will be my solution :)
ans also I will try to make some connector in the bottom (jack or so)
