has anyone bought the new UltraFire WF-502B SST-50

i just bought one on ebay about 40$ i turned it on and died after 15 seconds. sent it back for a exchange with a batt to have dealer check it first.

so i bought a mg p-rocket sst-50. from shineing beam for 60$ and fast 2 day shipping as usual.

does anybody know of any beamshots of these little pocket rockets. i found a few but nothing on the little ultrafire. its a nice little light with a pocket clip. thanks, randy

Those large die p60 lights are pure flood. Similar to my mc-e p60 module there's pretty much a "hotsot" half the size of the spill with no discernable edge. I think those extra high powered p60 modules aren't very reliable, your's probably burned out the driver or has a poor ground, but they'll succumb to heat buildup due to poor conduction to the flashlight body unless you wrap the pill in foil.
