Has anyone modded a KD Q5 M@g drop in with SSC P4 ?

I have a cousin who has been thinking of a Malkoff but SOLD OUT isn't the greatest selling point.

I know the Cree version got so-so reviews but what if it had a SSC P4 dropped into it instead?

has anyone tried this?

No offense to Gene, and I know his stuff is premium... but..

most of the difference is KD used a cree and Gene uses a SSC P4 right?

also, 800 ma might not be AMAZING for a Cree but it's close to the limit of the SSC, no?
