There has been discussion of the light on other forums, and clearly no runtimes graphs seems to exist, but I wonder if anyone can confirm . .at least roughly . . . the flat regulated runtime of the G2L. (Note: Not the advertised runtime).

Thanks.

usually the most recent runtimes would come from chevrofreak....
my guess is
1-his busy
2-he doesnt have a light to review with
3-runtime test currently runing or not posted yet

send him a PM and see what happens

I'll try pm'ing. Item #2 is def an issue. #1 or #3 is possible . .although I think he is not normally a SF guy . . and would work with what he get his hands on. I'm happy to contribute paypal for a portion of the cost of the SF cells which would be fried in the test if another member owns the light and can run a test. I miss quickbeams reviews!! Those were the days:(

Are any of the inquirers capable of measuring the tailcap current at least? That would give some idea of the run time potential.

No one is posting run time plots for several lights/drop-ins. The G2L and Malkoff's P60 drop in to name two. I wish that more CPF'ers would invest in an inexpensive lightmeter. All of use should have a DMM to take tailcap mA measurements.

I ordered a 6PL from Optics planet yesterday ($69.99 shipped) and since it uses the same LED module as the 6PL should give nearly identical results.

I should have runtime graphs by next Sunday.

Chevrofreak, could you share with us what type of lightmeter you're using and what software you use to make the charts.

Thanks

Actually since the thermal limiting will kick in earlier on the G2L the runtimes will not be the same. Unless you can put the module in a G2.

There is a informal review here:

and Chevrofreak's runtime is now here:
