Is this charger the same as it was when it was released or has it had updates or revisions?

I am considering buying one and was curious if Maha has ever changed it or if there are any plans to do an update.

I got lucky. I bought one of the first ones available. Recently one of the slots no longer recognized that a battery was inserted. Thompson replaced it under warranty with no questions asked so now I have a "new" version. 5 year warranty that actually is honored for electronics is almost unheard of. . . .

I had a problem with my older MH-C9000 not recognizing that new Maha Immedion batteries had been inserted. Maha customer service and I both thought that it was that the cells were a bit too short so they sent me replacements.

When those didn't work, they sent me a new MH-C9000 charger and the problem was solved. The date code on the original charger was OFAB01 and the code on the new one was OHOJA. The screen was considerably brighter on the new model and I read somewhere that there had been a change in the discharge cutoff voltage.

Maha CS was terrific to deal with. :twothumbs

Its great to know that Maha stands behind their products.
As a matter of fact, my Maha MH-C9000 and some other goodies, are due to be delivered today! :twothumbs

Big Ben,
How is the new charger treating you?

I just pulled the trigger on a MH-C9000 and 4 four packs of eneloops from Thomas Dist. You guys are going to be hard on my bank account.

With a good charger and good cells your account suffer at first but you will earn money in the medium term, unless you start buying lots of cells because you want to know how good they will be.

Buying flashlights, on the other hand...
