HDS 2XAA RUNTIME!

I finial got around to doing some run times with my b42 and a 2XAA tube.I have had good times with Duracell pre-charged but wanted to see how it would perform with standard Duracell alkalines.Not sure if i have a freak light but the thing ran for 93 minutes at 42LM.I then stepped it down to .33LM and it has been ruining now for 9 days straight! Holy cow....

That's pretty impressive. Do you plan to run the test a 2nd time to see if you can duplicate the results?

Ya i have to. Something tells me it should have gone out long ago.

Turbodog showed really bad runtimes when on Level 1 on AA alkalines years ago. Are you sure you didn't miss a drop? NiMH showed really good runtime.

Thats possible like i said i will have to run it again.But even if it did step down it still ran for 90 minutes on high or a level down and now its on it's 9th day at .33! Thats just nuts.

The long tail end of light sounds about right. But the 1.5 hours on High sounds like you missed some sort of drop. By the sounds of it a 2 level drop.
