Besides the Zebra headlamp with the 18650's are there any other companies that make a LED headlamps with 18650s?
Perferable with weatherproof and reach as Zebra can't get wet and is only flood.

I know of no other headlamp manufacturer offering an 18650 headlamp.

However, there are several that use lithium battery packs built from 18650's. Check out the StenLight designed for cavers if you want a bombproof headlamp (just be willing to shell out the big bucks for one).

Woa, yup over 2 bills for that one. Less than then the "Petzl Ultra" for 4 bills. Either way out of my range right now. Well maybe it the future, they will make it?
I actually found one:

Hummm U$S 28.50 Ok they make one, but I got serious doubts about any type of quality of this one.

It's fine with Firefox -but at work they only have Explorer.
It opened a million tabs and locked the computer.

Have you thought of replacing the 3 or 4AA holders on a headlamp that has them, to a 1 X 18650 Turbferret holder?

PT Apex would be a good candidate maybe.

dom, I waz using explorer and didn't even try firefox or other browsers. Anyways interesting lil things, them ferrets.
Yes, I saw the Apex Pro with 2x123's but I waz thinking that with 1 or even 2 18650's how much more battery life would that model have? I luv their easy change batteries.

Perhaps something was wrong with the work computer - i just tried Explorer at home and it worked fine.
Sorry for that.

A few people have tried the Pro with protected RCR123's with no problem -not sure of runtimes though if you fitted
18650's -should be good though:)

Members "Yellow" & "Cy" use an Argo HP
with upgraded LED and they can drop in an
17670. Yellow says it can be modded to fit an 18650.
