Hello all,
Just wanted to introduce myself, I was looking for an introduction sub-forum but couldn't find anything and saw a couple of intros here (apologies if I'm in the wrong place). I've been lurking for probably about a year now but didn't realise that I hadn't registered yet.
Currently live in Sydney, Australia but originally from England. Not too much in the way of a torch collection just yet but just ordered three Fenix TK20s from 4Sevens, two for christmas presents (brother and father in law, a man can never have too many torches
) and one for me (yellow by the way). Next will be a decent head torch probably after the Christmas spending has stopped.
The rest are as follows:
Maglite 6D (I've had this for nearly 20 years now, my first proper torch)
Maglite 3D (With a Terralux TLE-6EB bulb)
Mini Maglite 2xAAA (which the end cap has seized on)
A few cheap LED torches that have either been given to me or picked up somewhere and probably my favorite at the moment; a small incandescent 2xAA rubber Duracell. May sound odd but this provides just the right amount of illumination when I'm in the attic or under the house. I took the Maglite up there while I was running some cables and kept blinding myself :duh2:. The old Duracell now accompanies me when I'm exploring around the house.
