Help I broke my Maglite

So I wanted to fix the resistance in my switch (3D) http://homepage.mac.com/rouses/circuits/PhotoAlbum289.html

so I took the switch apart and managed to bypass the spring, but other then that I didn't do anything.

now the light doesnt work anymore. what could it be?

btw I also bypassed the spring in the tailcap.

I don't understand why it wouldn't work, please help me find out what is causing the trouble and how I should go about testing it

ok, never mind folks, the issue just cleared itself.

a really stupid mistake: when I reassembled the switch the spring was a little odd from having additional wires crammed inside of it. that caused it to NOT snap into its correct position, hence not making contact
