Looks like it is very slightly off center. That is common to many lights and should not affect the real world usage.

Fenix attempts to center the LED die itself in the reflector, not the entire assembly.

Some LED's come with the die not perfectly centered under the dome.

But is this a problem for the results of the light, also on long distance?

just looking at my tk11 its the same as yours and i wouldn't worry about skewing the beam that much at all i onl notice it being off centre on my wall up close and even there i have to look for it, hope this helps any:twothumbs

with respect I think the OP has a point, sometimes we all like things in the right place :naughty:
like that niggle knife blade, not aliened centre of the liners :twothumbs

The off-center LED on the TK11 affects the light beam ALOT (mine is smooth finish, they don't have orange peel option at that time). I end up sending mine back for an exchange. The second copy is still off-centered but not as bad. I guess I'll have to live with the imperfection...

When spending that much on money on a light, I would except everything to perfect. I bought my light from a local authorized fenix retailer and I expected to be treated well with products and services.

If I am buying the light from DX and I would expect differently. They shipped me two cheapo lights that are DOA and never response to my emails and long distance phone calls . Got to learn better next time.

I'm just talking from my experience. I've seen many cheap and expensive lights and you can find some deficiencies on EVERY light. Surefire and +300$ wolf-eyes included... The important thing is if those deficiencies affects the real world usage or not.
