So, in a moment of sheer delirium, I ordered more than a few items from Lighthound, including a 18650 and Ultrafire charger for my Huntlight and I also picked up 17670 battery... only problem is that I don't currently have a light that takes a 17670! :ohgeez:

As an aside, the 17670 actually fits into the Huntlight and runs it. The voltage should be fine but, other than reduced runtimes, I'm wondering if this is all detrimental...?

As a result, I've decided that I need to purchase a new light that takes a 17670. So, I'm asking all you Flashaholics out there to please help me find decide on my next light with the following criteria:

- LED (Cree preferably)
- Takes 1x17670

I appreciate any suggestions that you all may have!

jumpstat, I would say price can be in the ballpark of $125 or less. As for usage, I tend to like lights with good throw but with multiple light levels as I do a lot of camping, hiking and biking.

in theory any of these bodies would work with a cree drop-in module and a 17670. In some cases, depending on which module you get, minor modification might be neccessary. Any 3.7V incan D26 incan lamp will also work.

Leefbody 1x18650 w/C tail and head, +SF compatible tail-cap/bezel.
Surefire G2, 6P, C2, Z2, G2Z, M2.
Wolf-Eyes 6 series sniper (non-turbo).
DX "JALL"
Ultrafire/Superfire 2 cell: WF501B, WF502B,
Cabellas XPG 6V 2 cell
G&P 6P, T-6
Brinkman Maxfire LX (requires removal of built in reflector, lamps don't seat perfectly centered)
Pila GL2
Huntlight FT-01
Pelican M6 new version only

some will also accept 18650s. like the leef, Jall, and WE and Huntlight.
