Help Needed -- SF 6P with Turbo Head

I have a Surefire 6P with Turbo Head and N1 inside. The problem is the N1 is not too bright.

Does anyone know of any 6V replacement lamp with higher lumens that can replace the N1? (I will stick with 6V). I don't mind a shorter run-time.

Thank you.

What about LED Tower Modules instead of bulbs? You would no longer have to buy bulbs for it and LEDs don't burn out. They are a bit pricey, but in my opinion worth it.

Looks good. Can you point us in the direction of some info on these tower modules.

I'm not sure the Tower module is right for my setup since I only got 6V. To my humble knowledge, I know there are tower modules designed for higher voltage, but didn't know if they are good (ie, bright) for 6V.

Also, I prefer incandesent rather than led.

Still looking for tips for SF N1 replacement with higher lumens.

For a 6V setup, I'd agree with DaFABRICATA's suggestion to go the LED route, which is what I'm using on my 6P with an SRTH running off 2xR123s. Since you prefer incan and want brighter output, you'll need to add an extender to the 6P to run 3x123s and go used the M3T LOLA, the MN15.

Here's my current 6P setup.

Does your 6P with SRTH + LED works with the non-rechargeable 123s please? And if it is bright? If yes, where did you get the LED?

Yes, it does work with primary cells (non-rechargeables) - the down converter in this module can actually handle up to 16V, so you can pretty much use any combination of cells for it to work. Yes, it is bright, at least to me anyway. This turbo head has a very narrow hotspot, which results in more throw compared to the KT1/2 and KT4 heads which tends to have a larger hotspot with brighter sidespill.

This LED module is a DIY project with the following parts from AW (the turbo module), Seoul SSC LED + Arctic Alumina from Photofanatic and converter from the Shoppe or from ArcMania, from whom I got mine. Check out their threads for more information on how to get them.

Oops ... thanks for the correction. That's the SRTH 2.5" turbo head. Sideways pic below, this time with a 6P.

Thank you for the info. Much appreciated. Will try.
