Ok heres the problem my laser pointer from novop***e is really strong at first then it dims down really fast.On my LED type check it peaks at 190uA then it drops down to 90 then to 20 with in 2-3 seconds. Then it stays at 20 or below.Could it be because the diode is getting warm? If so can i just put thermal paste or something? O and one last thing can thermal paste be applied directly to the circuit board? Any help is appreciated.THANKZ!!!

yup, mine does the exact same thing. this laser is a piece of crap.
my first green laser I bought, ebay special, didnt know anything about them, some cheapo thing for 35 bucks from hong kong... blows this thing out of the water.

NOT ONLY is this novophone not bright, and fluctuates more then ANY other laser iv seen...the beam isnt tight at all. Its a dull blob at any reasonable distance.

its a shame too cause it feels so nice in the hands... and its small.
ohh well

im not trying to burst your bubble.. maybe yours is better then mine, or someone can figure out a way to fix them.

Im not saying this laser sucks but it dims down really quickly. But for the first second or so it is REALLY! bright

Why not look on the bright side. More than likely it will only be a short time before it will not come on at all.
