I am getting ready to start a treatment program for my Hep c ,pegassist, there anyone here that has been through it?

I had the treatment and it worked. I have been virus clear going on 2 1/2 years. The tx (treatment) kicked my butt
I found the folks at Medhelp.org the best.
What's your genotype and viral load? Did you have a biopsy (bx)? I was a 1B with a starting load of 620,000, my bx was a stage 1 on the Metiver scale. Inflamation was a 1-2.
I hope you are a type 2. The tx is shorter.

My brother went through it. He did well and has been clear for a year. They prescribed a mood leveler (like Prosac) to help him get through the hard parts. It was a long year, or at least it felt like a year to him.

Type 1,load 14 million slight inflamation.I got it in a transfusion in '89 and had almost forgotten about it till I had a physicial.
