I just recieved these two lights. When I saw them, I impulsively pushed the order button... as I already had the cool tint versions.

However, now that I have them, I have to say I'm so glad I did. My thoughts were that I loved the P100C2 and similar T100C2 for their:
  • Great build
  • Good runtimes
  • Great regulation on multiple battery choices
  • Great beam pattern (I love the hotspot that slowly dissolves into spill vs. "the white disc")
  • Forward clickie
  • Optional tailcap (for tailstanding)
  • Dead simple UI
  • Reasonable price
  • Good combo of drive current vs. heat
The only thing I didn't care for so much was the quite blue tint. Solved!! These new versions are identical to the original, but with a terrific tinted Q3 XPE (I'm guessing 5A, as it appears similar to other specimens I possess). These lights have vaulted to the top of my list. Both have perfectly centered leds. I am extemely happy with them, and glad I saved myself the mental overhead and just ordered them both the moment I saw them.

I thought you should know about them.

:naughty:

Nice...I am also appreciating a lot the P100C2 ...best output for its size, fwd clickie, excellent grip , awesome regulation and smooth beam :)

Ha-ha! I too just ordered the T100C2 & P100A2 in N/W from Flashlightconnection. I placed my order this past Friday and received them yesterday, Monday! I couldnt believe they arrived in 1 business day! :D One is a x-mas gift, the other is for me. It's going to be hard giving up that P100A2. Not only that, my order from Shingbeam, also ordered friday, also arrived yesterday. A+ service from both!

Yes, I have performed function tests on both lights. Wouldnt want to give a faulty gift.

I like my P20A2 in Neutral White, but only indoors. While it's an improvement over cool white, it simply can't render grass and ground as clearly as my warm (4300K) NailBender MC-E, warm Malkoff M30WF, and [warm-only] Fenix TK20.

True enough, but then we're incan guys from way back... :candle: I still remember your D26/36 shootouts with clarity.

It is something of a compromise; it is far superior to the cool blue tint, but it's not an incan, either. Even warm tinted leds don't render color and 3D like an incan does, not to get off subject.
