The 6 & 12 volt spotlights we commonly use pull a lot of current from their batteries. Has anyone found that the 6 volt SLA batteries rated for high drain last any longer for lifetime and capacity maintenance? I realize they probably won't offer much more in run time.
Am I just as well off to spend ~ $15 for a regular 6v SLA and replace it in a couple years?
Are there any brands which have proven to be more reliable and which ones should I avoid?
Thanks for any help.
