ZL SC 600w IV Plus … Battery Cell Recommendation. Have had the light for a couple years.

Been with Zebralights since they introduced Gen 1 SC600, still use it everyday. Three SC 62 and SC64's that get used by my girlfriend and me regularly. Plus a SC 52cw, great light!

Running older Samsungs and Sonys and a few Panny Sanyos 3500 in the Newer SC 600w IV Plus… I really like this light A LOT!

Was recommended the 'newer' Molicell P28A 35A 2800 and the Sinowatt 30SP 15A 3000 for the SC 600 IV Plus. Could order more Panny Sanyo NCR 3500 GA's wanted to put it out to the forum, what are you folks using?

The light has 2300 lumen Turbo, I usually run it in the 350 lumen range.

I use the red sanyo NCR18650GA 10amp 3500mah or the Samsung 30q 3000mah 15amp.

Zebralights are probably my top favorite light. I really enjoy using my SC64w HI. It's a beast and a perfect all rounder light

get the highest capacity cell that gives enough current for the light.
afaik, 10A is enough, so it's a no brainer: NCR18650GA
presumably 10A is enough for any 18650 ZL since that's the only 18650 they sell.

I have four NCR 18650GA cells that work in all of my ZL 18650 light's EXCEPT for the SC 600 IV Plus! I could not believe it. My other LG and Sony 18650 cells work in the SC600. So… I contacted Lion Wholesale and bought four new ones along with four Vapcell 1250 14500 F12 cells for my SC52c ZL. All eight cells perform as they should… flawlessly.

I've been using NCR 18650GA for many years. Last week I got the new Vapcell 18650 4000mAh 10A model N40 and so far, so good. I tested capacity on all of them, all were over 4000 and the highest measured 4156mAh. I monitor self discharge daily, and so far it's good.
