Wondering if anyone knows the highest capacity RCR123 avilable?

AW's 750mAH according to a test I found, the cells are way over rated by 150mAH. They are really 600mAH cells.

From this thread: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=117117

In those tests I only see about 4 different RCR123's tested, and the best they seem to do is about 650mAH. Anyone know of another cell that has a true capacity of 700-750 or higher?

Thanks.

I think that was a test of the older (blue) cells AW used to have. The last I heard his newer ones were still one of the best, if not the best at around 650mAh. This of course beat out the "1000" and "1200" mAh cells that were actually something like 500-550mAh. :)

Cool, we'll I bought a few to test out with my CBA III that should be coming soon... :)

Well, I got some of the AW R123's in the mail.

I charged the first one up to 4.18v and discharged to 2.8v. Capacity was only 573mAH.

That was at a reasonable .4A discharge rate.

I'm charging it back up and will see what it does at .2A. So far... I'm not impressed with these cells and they seem very over rated in capacity.
