Hey guys and gals,

Quick question for you all. Would a HO-12 lamp work with 3 RCR123s? If not, what is the highest output lamp that would?

Also, any suggestions on lamps that are better than the Lumens Factory lamps?

Thanks for your responses!

well, the HO-12 is designed for use in the M90 on 4 CR123s, I'm not sure of any flashlight that will hold the lamp assembly that fits 3 CR123 size cells... (as I understand it, the LF D36 series is too large to fit in the 9 series from WE/Pila, but that may have changed....)

But.. assuming you did have a configuration that would hold it all, you still can't use the configuration, because the HO-12 draws 2.15A, which is twice the safe current limit for most RCR123s. Runtime would be maybe 5-10 minutes, and the cells would be dangerous within a few cycles.

Any of the 9L lamps can be driven on a pair of 18500s safely, assuming you have a supporting body configuration.
