I was at Home depot yesterday picking up replacement shower door rollers, Stopped by the flashlight isle, and one of the headlamps is advertised as being warm tinted. I had my RC-N3-Q5 with me and could easily see into the bezel that is a Cree XR-E or XR-C. Anyways, I found it interesting that a cheap B&M product advertises something so highly boutique as color tint and color resolution.

Phosphor surface has a noticeably orange color

I like the direction the Latest Husky line is taking... cheap Cree XR-Es, 3 year warranty!!. I walked out with a pair of 3xAAA lights, for use as mod hosts.

Interesting. Price? I notice it doesn't mention multiple output levels, just the "up to 100 lumen" statement.

The tint was good in my view for the woods and it is very bright. The beam is a bit funny and despite the large Al bezel the LED is not heat sinked to it. Also no low/med setting means it eats the 3xAAA fast. It almost seemed reguated to me however I used 900 mAh. The NiMH burn more regulated on their own but no battery expert. Never tested it with the standard energizers provided but think it would burn though them even faster.
