I have an old XJC B-12 that hasn't worked well since I got it ( '06 )
and I traced the problem to a faulty clicky . Since the light is so old and all I didn't want to spend any more money on it . So I took out the tailspring and stuffed a rolled up ball of aluminum foil in there . I now have a flicker-free twisty tailcap. :devil:

When I read through this subforum and I see all of the wonderful and ingenious mods I know that a mod like mine has no place here other than a bit of comic relief .

:shakehead:laughing::crackup:

Ok , the OD of the threaded part of the (plastic) clicky retaining ring seems to be the same diameter as an Energy Tech 18650
So , 17 , more likely 18 mm ? And the depth is about the same .

Sorry , I don't have a metric measuring device :shrug:
McGizmo McClicky Pak Switch Module with holes
Would this work ?

hmm....

so the switch is retained by a plastic retaining ring....that is missing too...

that means that the current is conducted directly by the switch itself....

any chance this will fit ( you will have to secure it with a way though it is not necessary)

the mcclicky neens a way to conduct the current I think....

I nedd to check the diameter of the romisen N3, G2 and M4 replacement switches Shiningbeam.com sells
