I'll direct this to Al, since he is always in the know, but anyone else who knows can chime in.

Does the A2 have the FAA approval for carry by commercial pilots in place of the "2-D or equivalent flashlight" requirement?

PieThatCorner was quoted by the press as saying:
I'm glad that SureFire added the A2 to their website along with the Backorder caveat.

[/ QUOTE ]

Me too!

PieThatCorner also issued the following statement:
In my own opinion, the A2 is deserving of more publicity, but I can understand both sides of the debate as to whether or not to market a product underscored by its availability, or non-availability as it were.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is my point exactly!

I hereby appoint Pie as my official spokesperson.

SF discontinued the 9P...AGAIN????

Do they make any 3-cell lithium light that's not a Millennium Series?

I think there's some extender gizmo that lets you turn a 6p into a 9p.

paulr,
The A19 allows you to add an additional SF123A. It is available in black only. Please email me if you would like some photos of this part.

When a product is discontinued I guess there will stock sitting around waiting to be sold. Discontinued is not the same as being recalled.
