How do I check / charge these batteries?

Interesting reading.
Based on reading about LFP batteries on diysolarforum, indications are that they are at their most fragile when fully charged; that the gain in capacity by charging to the max (3.65V) is not worth it for experienced users who prefer long life over ~2% (guess) increase in stored energy.

Hoping to read on this thread how these batteries perform with your flashlights.

I did one custom cycle on the 3642mAh battery, I discharged it to 2.8V @ 1.5A then charged it to 3.65V at 2A, discharged it @ 1.5A to 2.6V which showed 4067mAh for that discharge cycle, then recharged to 3.60V at 2A and ended with 3656mAh....

Just got the copper bar in to make the + & - end pieces & the coupling(s) for 2 or 3 batteries in series. Now I just need some time on the lathe!
