Now it could be a bad piece of, or my wiring could be wrong, but I dare not try it ith the other....maybe I have found a use for...

Thanks beforehand guys, kostas

How do you do to be sure that the circuit perfectly works?

I can't find any KD 4886 driver on the KD web site. What is it? You probably can trace out the circuit, especially the components on the inductor side and figure out where LED+, LED-, Batt+, and Batt- connect.

did you wire the driver to the battery with the output as an open circuit or did you wire it to the batter after a load is applied?

exactly....if I wired it corectly, as it seems, then it doesn't...
From the picture on KD, it looks like you have it wired correctly. Are you giving it enough voltage? This is a buck board, and they usually like to see 0.5 to 1V more than the Vf of the LED.

As Illum asked, did you apply power to the board before, or after you connected the LED? If you connected the battery before the LED was connected, you probably fried the FET.

Maybe ProductID 9908, SKU: S008846?

That is it. http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=9908
