How do you carry spare batteries?

Candle Power Forums

Help Support Candle Power:

After getting the SF L4 and carrying it everywhere, I noticed it didn't get yellow to warn me to change batteries. Now I'm using a PILA LiIon rechargeable in it, but I still want the security of backup in my keychain pocket, so I wanted something rugged that wouldn't be annoyed by the keys.

It had to be insulating and with all the money I've been spending, cheap. This is 1" OD tubing and crutch ends.

Enjoy!

PS: (edit) I use SF SC1s and SC2s all over the place, this was just something to fit in my pocket. I use the SC2s when I'm dealing with turbohead lamps as well, and the SC1s when I'm not.

I simply use a 2 x 3 inch ziploc bag. It holds either 4 x AAA, 3 x AA, or 3 x CR123A (max). Since I use a daypack, it goes in the front pocket of it. I use larger ziplocs for C and D cells, more for moisture protection than anything else.
