how do you hold your E1B backup?

I find it hard to effectively hold lights smaller than the CREE L1? The E1B seems like a really neat light, but I feel like it's too short.

How does it's length work out for you? How exactly do you hold it, do you hold it differently than longer lights?

I don't have any problems holding it, it's larger than some of my other lights, and I don't have problems holding them. Everyone's hands are different though.

How do you hold it mostly?

with 2 fingers wrapped around? with all four fingers wrapped around? between your thumb and index finger?

All four fingers wrapped around it, thumb in the switch. Like, a normal grip? Not sure why you'd hold it any other way. Thumb and index finger? How would you work the switch?

Well, you'd hold it another way if the light wasn't long enough to hold with all 4 fingers wrapped around. I wasn't sure if the light was long enough for the "traditional grip"

Thanks :)

Try holding it like a pencil, then vary the positions of your index and middle fingers until it is comfortable and easy to operat the switch with your thumb. I know what you mean, though, my L1 is my most favorite to hold and carry, besides I happened to get one with the color matching on all parts and I just like to look at it.
Good luck.
