How many people use jb weld

Hey guys I'm working on a nice and pricy build lol and I need a threaded adaptor made but it will set me back a lot $$$$

would jb weld do just fine or would that not be quality work going that direction ??

just wondering how many use it

If it's for a personal build, go for it. I don't think it's professional to use JB Weld in something you are selling to someone else, though. The stuff's strong, but also keep in mind that it's an electrical insulator and a heat insulator.

I've not used it in a flashlight, but I've used it to secure a bolt to a piece of plastic to mount something too. Held up pretty good so far, no reason to think it'll fail anytime soon.

+1 On the previous response. I've used JB Weld for years and think it's a great product. I've used it on one flashlight I built for myself. I would not use it on anything for a customer without clear disclosure though.

It is used for making the head of the Varapower Turbos from lambdalights.

Well I came to a Decision and I'm having a adaptor made, and once it's done I'm going to make a silicone mold and make more using plastic :)
