I tried to stipple my clear reflector today with success. Just like someone here had instructed to I used kryon clear gloss and held the reflector about a foot away from my hand and while rotating the piece lightly coated the reflector. Did that twice because I didn't look stippled enough. Not so sure now.
The clear reflector and my Cree Q5 (I now know the Seouls probably works better in the single m@g mod) gave me a very, very hard doughnut that became a very small spot. After the stippling, a very, very nice spill with very little spot. That's what makes me think I stippled to much. My stippled reflector from Gene Malkoff has a much better spot along with beautiful flood. And it's not like you really see alot of orange peel or anything....to much right?
