How to break in new batteries?

Hey guys, I have some new Ni-Mh batteries and was wondering how do I break them in? How many full discharge and charge cycles should I do?

It is also highly recommended to do a 0.1C "forming charge" for 16 hours after being discharged.

Like LuxLuthor stated, you should do a forming charge, if not, a few cycles should do but I've heard of some taking a enormous amount of cycles before they were at maximum capacity.
