How to fix a minimag head?

HI all!,

Been lurking for a while, this site is great

I was wondering if anyone has an idea how to fix a minimag head at a particular focus point. I am using a Terralux TLE-5 and a Terralux clickie tailcap and want to lock the head down to one spot. I am using teflon tape now with pretty good results, but it just seems kinda cheezy. Would a fatter o-ring do the job?

Loctite will do what you want and can be removed with hand tools. Here is a link.

I found some at Lowes for 5 or 6 dollars.

Did you use red or blue?

Blue, it is able to be taken apart with hand tools. Use it sparingly though.

Use some high torque thread locker and bind it up......
