How to make infrared flashlight?

Hello friends..
Thanks for all your support and help. Maybe this topic has been discussed before, but I honestly don't know where to start from. Well, I am planning to make infrared flashlight for night vision. I have a bunch of infrared bulbs, but don't know what to do. Just wondering how much resistance and what power source should I use? What else do I need to complete this task? I am not good with infrared, so any step by step instructions will be greatly appreciated.

Take any powerful incan light, put an IR-pass/Visible-block filter over the glass, and you're all done.
