How to remove cree emitter from star

I try to force with heat form solder tip but some are success and most are not success. Glue and solder lead is very stick.

Do you have another method to remove it?

Clamp it in a vise (vertical)
Heat the back with a torch
Have tweezers ready to pluck off the emitter as soon as the solder melts.

High temp in short time is safe for emitter right?
