How to tell if a Zevo LED will be ok? 2825 for '08 Prius FSM?

I know there's a lot of discussion around here if Zevo LED bulb replacements will work, and it seems very dependent on the particular car and lamp design.

I would like to replace the front side marker bulbs in my 2008 Prius with Zevo units. The Sylvania website suggests their Zevo 2825 will work, but how do I know if they really work or that recommendation is just the result of a cross-reference and not actual functionality testing?

There's a test on one of the stickies at the top. If you don't find it I'll try to link it. There are a lot of steps and the only one I found the back up lights on our v failed was comparing with an incandescent how bright/spread out the pattern is against a wall.

It will probably be fine. Be sure to use the amber ones for your front side markers, and carefully do the test described in jzchen's link.
