It was part of an overall package, E1e with a twisty switch and a Laser Products/Surefire pouch that holds the E1e perfectly and is horizontally attached to one's belt.
The KL1 has a purple tint! Man this brings back some fond memories. Think Arc LSH. It just looks cool, not the beam, but the head, it has a HA crown with a flat black barrel and fins.
It was just one of those impulse buys, I wanted a stock E1e. The other two I have sport a KX1 and Aussie Mini-Tower. The old school KL1 and pouch were icing on the cake.
