I stumbled on Fenix Clones !

This is from the company website in the "About Us" section:

Enterprise Culture
As the proverb said "Anxiety for knowledge and innovations is the natural instincts".
"Maxlite" roots from this anxiety.

There is a boy in China who spends his childhood with his grandparents in a small village, in this boy's memory; the night of the village is so dark that all his playmates go home when dark hours come. Since that time, this boy has made up his mind to put his career life in illumination tools.

Years before the young man graduated from his university and he still remember his childhood dream: "No dark in the night" He grew increasingly unsatisfied with the flood of low grade LED flashlight (torch) on the market.

Now, this young man has 40 advanced Computerized Numerical Control lathe (CNC Lathe), and his team has 12 professional LED flashlight (torch) technical engineers, and 3 of them are his university alumnus. They have the same determination to make the best LED flashlights. With additional 80 skilled staff members, those young menhave a monthly output of 50,000pcs flashlights. They make rechargeable LED flashlight (torch), tactical flashlight (torch) and flashlight (torch) accessory.

MAX HOUSE (HK) CO LTD looks forward to establishing a long term mutually beneficial cooperation with companions around the world. We warmly welcome guests over the world come to visit us! With our illumination tools on hand, no dark in the world!

Brand of "Maxlite" means Max Brightest, Max Best Quality, and Max Reasonable Price. Quality is our life!

They are serious about stealing designs.

However, they do produce some original designs it appears.

They say their P3D clone can use a 18650 battery. Wonder why Fenix can't do it.

Looks interesting. Might me a good idea for non flashaholics who want something close to fenix quality without the fenix price? ($50 on a flashlight is insane to 98% of the population )

this sort of things happened intentionally under Nuwai...but since when has Fenix become an OEM manufacturer?

Nuwai did it for the outsourcing profit...hence why several models in river rock packages are available on Nuwai's line

I don't own any fenix lights, nor looked into any of them. But I was underthe impression that the fenix lights were a low cost solution to Surefire. So doesn't a clone of an inexpensive light seem pointless?

I'm pretty Fenix is free standing since they make AA/2xAA/AAA/18650 lights.

While they are inexpensive compared to Surefires, they certainly aren't the same price as a $20 maglite.

Some of the Rayovac Sportsman Xtreme lights are also available in Nuwai's line.

There is a Nexxtech 2xCR123A K2 light available locally at Canada's version of Radio Shack that is also available as a Nuwai light.

HOT DAMN!!! They made their LD01 into a military flashlight, much more impressive than the civilian Fenix version and it puts out 220 lumens. Take that Fenix!

why do we take marketed values so seriously?!
Whether it be output or runtime we trust in good faith of companies being honest then jeer them when they aren't up to par...then we switch to another company then the cycle repeats. just drop the lumen values already, who cares?! if its functional enough to satisfy your application, then that's the real importance.

Would you like to buy some oceanfront property?

They make bullshit claims, I make smartass comments, I'll stop when they do.

Gee . . . .

Allow me to be the Very First to ask:

" Are these flashlights just as good as Fenix ? "

;)

Now, let's see how many other threads ask this same question.

No way on earth these are as good as Fenix lights.

Someone will probably buy one though.

But I was underthe impression that the fenix lights were a low cost solution to Surefire.

I don't see it that way. I'm a huge fan of SF, but I also buy Fenix for the multi modes. I love my E2Dl, E1B, L4 and a couple others, but there are times when my needs are better suited by my PD20 or my L2D.
