I don't think they are labeled as U2A so the regular U2s might be U2As. I'm not sure if I'm right though. You can send them an email to ask.

You won't because the flashlight isn't actually released yet. This will probably get moved to the marketplace, but opticsHQ, Batterystation, Batteryjunction, Brightguy.com are all good dealers I've used in the past.

U2a= updated version of the original U2, now with a Seoul ssc P4, instead of the old Luxeon 5. It's a bit throwier than the original, and has longer runtime/more output.

I can highly recommend the U2A it is an excellent flashlight... the U2 is one of the best designs of all times in my book and the U2A makes this light even better with longer runtimes and a wider range of lighting levels.

It is perfect in my book.

I can't argue with Optics HQ; I have also had great results with www.batteryjunction.com
