Re: FS: \"D\" Cell O-Sinks. Hold all orders!!

When ordering opens back up there will be a few Black Anno units.
At the moment all stocks are a bit low. There should be enough to keep you guys going fow a short while.
As I have said the Machinest is hard at work on "C" units and "D" units. In fact lathe work has been on both sizes. Mill work is next. then they will be tumbled (some people sem to want to skip this step. I like tumbled units..yes they don't shine with machine marks, they also have no sharp edges. I prefer no sharp edges.)
Anyway as soon as I can make the announcement I will. Basically I am waiting for the units to get there and get up onto the ordering system.
BTW There are not that many guys selling specialized flashlight parts. I am sure that if you guys listed your top 5 favorite CPF oriented Parts dealers. That the dealer that will be carryng O-Sinks will be amoung them.

Re: FS: \"D\" Cell O-Sinks. Hold all orders!!

You guys are pretty bad at guessing.
Every one of my flashlights has one of these items that this CPF specialist carries. EVERY ONE.
I will make this announcement tomorrow. Everything is all set there is stock and I have seen the web ordering interface. Looks good and is simple. I am sure many of you have already seen this web ordering interface.

Yaesumofo,

Got my two units today - fit on my black 2D is perfect /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/happy14.gif. I also love the mate finish and no sharp edges!

Thanks much. I look forward to getting additional units from Flashlightlens /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Important!! Ordering desk now open Great NEW N

I spoke with my Machinist today. He has made a commitment to have "C" and "D" units by next Thursday.
It will take a few days to get them to Flashlight lens.
Rest assured they will be available very soon.
I also have some backorder "C"'s which will go out as soon as I get them.
Thanks

Re: Important!! Ordering desk now open Great NEW N

Just so that you guys know the 10 or so BLACK "D" cell O-Sinks that are available will probably be the last in matte black.
Personally I don't think that the black anno on these has any effect on the ability of the O-Sink to move heat from the emitter to the aluminum body. Personally I love the look of the Black.
The problem is that in order to keep costs down I will either not do the anodizing (most likely) or I am going to have to add a dollar or two to the price of anodized units.
It dosen't really seem worth it to anodize the parts.
I say again it is likely that the Black units available at Flashlight lens will be the last.
If you guys feel strongly about this either way, speak up now so I can get an idea about what you want.
