Inova Inforce tailcap problems?

Sorry to bring up a maybe already discussed issue, but I searched and didnt find my answer. I just got a killer deal on the Inova Inforce White. Im sure I read the operation directions right and the ribs are aligning. When I first got it it was intermittently working, now it wont turn on at all. The only thing I found when I searched was something about a break in or something about a hard tailcap switch. I wanted to see if anybody had trouble with this. I have never had problems with my Target Inovas, but bummed out because the Inforce claims to be MIL-STD-810F tested. Also I couldnt find the claimed Lanyard Hole on the flashlight. I was dying to receive my light in the mail now I'll have to wait and see if Inova sends me another tailcap. Thanks in advance.

I think the claimed lanyard hole is the little square gap under the clip.

I've got an Inforce White with a pushbutton that takes a lot of force to activate. It is suggested that this may be intentional. Well, hopefully the enemy can't push that hard I suppose. It's a nice light but I sure wouldn't trust my life to being able to turn it on quickly when I needed it. There are suggestions that Inova is aware of the stiff tailswitch problem and may fix it in newer models.

There have been reports of other tailcap problems, particularly with the tan models of the Inforce.

For example, see:

I have the tan body of the Inforce color LED model and my tail cap was hard to press. Did receive another cap from Inova and its working out great. From what I read it will need a break in period so I'll keep the original tail cap as a backup.

Vox Thanks for the Link I guess I did not see that one. So the hole by the clip is the lanyard hole, I guess you cant take the clip off and have a lanyard. Guam does breaking mean I have to play with the tailcap? I try it and see. I'll call Inova see if they send me a new one.
