Inside diameter of 18650 Leef body...

Hi all,

I found some japan 18650 li-ions (protected) in local retailer; I have solarforcX 18650 tube body (inside dia.: ~18.5mm)and tried to insert the cell, but not fit.

so does anyone know the accurate inside diameter of the 18650 leefbody?

Unfortunately I don't have calipers here for an exact measurement but eyeballing it looks like 19mm on my 2x18650 C tail E head grooved leefbody.
Email/ call Lighthound and perhaps they can give you a more exact answer?

I just browse lighhound site, there seems no tailcap for sales, so does it mean the original SF tailcap is compatible with Leef?

Yes... but which SF tailcap and which Leefbody? There are 2 common SF tailcaps C series and E series. Most Leefbodies iirc on Lighthound use a C series tailcap (SF 6P, 9P, C2, C3 for example).

cenz ... my Leef 2 x 18650 inside diameter is .740 inch = 18.8 mm
