Installing a magcharger slug in a maglite...directions please?

A while ago, before I moved from the apartment I was in to the house I'm in now, someone sent me a magcharger bipin slug...can anyone tell me how to install that in my 2C maglite (or my 2D maglite)?

Will it only fit in a D? I just don't know! He also sent me mica heat shields.

Also, can I power a magcharger bulb off 6 NiMH AAs? How about two of AW's lithium ion cells?

I'm saving up for a metal reflector...yeah $30 is a killer for me right now...that's a week's worth of grocerys, I'm even growing some of my own food to save money...

using that in your MagC shoudl work fine. And give you the ability to run a Wa1111 bulb (awesome) with 2 of AW's new Li-Ion C cells (dont forget to order an extender)

Please note that many people reported smoking / melting issues with the MC slug due to the smoking/melting of the black plastic compound which clouded up the lens/reflector.
