The fins, "ram air" and thermal controls make a great setup! Wonder if it uses Crees? Have to keep an eye on that one. Thanks for the tip.

I hate how many companies just post product info and marketing hype but do not give any beam shots in actual outdoor settings so you can compare indoor and outdoor shots. It's like buying a car without driving it.

Forced air cooling ducts look like mud traps. I like my minewt which is all metal and has cooling fins all over it.

Otherwise all these look great. Hope prices are realistic!

Sunlight-sapping Daylight Savings is nearly over, and Blackburn has revamped its LED-based System X line of lights just in time. The biggest improvement, by far, is the new Li-ion battery which replaces last year's NiMH unit. The change in chemistry yields a pack which is just one-third the size of the original, and the new smoother shape is also easier to mount on the bike or toss into a jersey pocket. Blackburn carries over the 3W Luxeon emitters and still houses them in versatile handlebar- or helmet-mounted heads, and still utilizes the very-useful advanced Constant Current and SuperCharger technology.

New Blackburn System X4 & X8 - it look's that it is good old X3 & X6 with a new smaller Li-Ion Battery pack.



Something new from Light & Motion ?? - looks like Stella but who knows...
