hello everyone Iam pretty new here, been reading the forums for a couple weeks now and finally decided to join
iam extremly new to the whole LED thing and I didn't belive they could be usefull as a decent flashlight until a few days ago when bought an ultrafire 602A1 this thing is crazy bright for a single AA, I put it up against my 4d MAG with a whitstar xenon bulb with fairly new batterys, and it almost completley faded the mag out I was just amazed at how bright it was for the size, anyways I decided to go out and get the MAG 3watt LED to bring it up to speed although Iam still not impressed with it when compared to this little single AA light but its a bit better then it was LOL, anyways I'll definatly be getting another LED light to replace the job of my 4D mag for things around the house and yard etc..although I still like the size and weight of my 4d and i'll keep it in my truck for reasons that are proboboly self evidant

Hi Jaymasta,

welcome to CPF. Please be very careful with what you do now. Most if not all of us have said that maybe we needed an LED flashlight to check its performance. Then we said that maybe, just maybe, we needed a second one.....

We end up with more and more lights and usually an angry wife

So be extremely careful....and enjoy yourself :grin2:

Welcome, man!

And beware of the two contradicting CPF-mottos:

Buy both!
Watch your wallet!
:)

Welcome to CPF Jaymasta.

You came to the right place if you want to talk flashlights, even lasers and sometimes knives. Lots of great knowledgeable people to hang with. Be warned, this place can put a h#llva dent in your wallet.:naughty: Have fun and enjoy the ride.
